Impressions
As I stepped inside the Ryokan & Day Shizuku, I felt like a lone hiker who had found his way to an oasis in the middle of a desert. The hotel staff welcomed me with open arms, guiding me through the traditional Japanese architecture to my room. And as I walked through that hallway, I felt like a person on a trail, with a destination that promised the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure.
The first day began with an early morning hike up a nearby mountain that was nothing but a rush of adrenaline and sweat. It was as though I was discovering a hidden passage as I climbed my way up through the winding hiking trail. And when I finally reached the peak, all I could see were the breathtaking landscapes, stretching out magnificently before my eyes. I felt exactly like a mountaineer, the world at my fingertips.
In the evenings, the hotel offered an elaborate spa service and bathhouse, which I found even more refreshing than a cold drink of water after a long hike. As I submerged myself in the hot spring water pool, I felt like a weary traveler who had finally found some solace. It was a moment of pure bliss.
From exploring legendary shrines and mountain ranges to finding tranquility and relaxation at the hotel’s Japanese garden, my visit to Ryokan & Day Shizuku was more than just a vacation. It was like a journey where I was able to explore, discover, and unwind all at the same time.
